Lawyer warns Prince Harry's drug use could threaten his US visa

Prince Harry's admission of drug taking could threaten his US visa, an American lawyer has warned as he insisted there was 'no exception for royalty'.

The Duke of Sussex revealed in his bombshell memoir 'Spare' and TV interviews that he had taken cocaine, cannabis and magic mushrooms in the past.

MailOnline yesterday told how the Duke is now facing calls for his US visa application to be released to see whether he admitted his drug use before emigrating to California with Meghan Markle in 2020.

A conservative think tank is in the middle of a battle with Washington DC officials who are staunchly refusing to publish any details - including any texts or emails.

The DC-based Heritage Foundation says his visa application must now be released so the American taxpayer can understand whether Harry declared his drug use.

US immigration law has harsh penalties for lying to immigration officials, including deportation and being barred from applying for citizenship.

Former federal prosecutor Neama Rahmani told Page Six last night: 'An admission of drug use is usually grounds for inadmissibility.

'That means Prince Harry's visa should have been denied or revoked because he admitted to using cocaine, mushrooms and other drugs.'

I could see the Heritage Foundation taking this to court, they have a bee in their bonnet over this, but there must have been enough people contacting the Foundation with concerns/complaints over Harry's visa situation.

Side note: Murky Meg released a video about 3 wks. ago stating the reasons why she hadn't had any videos for quite a while. She had surgery and developed complications afterward and had a hard time of it and she's still in recovery. In addition, she's had problems with social media (Sussex Squad, it sounds like) and went off social media for quite a while.

I was reminded today Harry also admitted to using Ketamine..a powerful animal tranquilizer. The thing is, he's taking a Schedule I narcotic now, that's illegal and boasting about it, ie. ayuhausca tea.
As I've said, if it was anyone of us, (as an example), we would have been banned if we admitted to drug usage or deported if found we lied. This isn't going well with the US public at all.
One note I found out: Dr.Gabor Mate had to close his practice in 2011 after pressure from the Canadian Govt. over his treatment practices. He's not a psychologist or a psychiatrist, he's a family practitioner with no extra training.

I hope Charles didn't use his influence with Immigration in Harry obtaining his visa. If that occurred and it would be revealed, it would be ugly.

I honestly don't see how Harry can even function with the amount of drugs he claims to take. I have a prescription for Vicodin, butI only take it when my pain is unmanageable. I took one tablet today for the first time in six months and I zonked out. I suppose he's built up a tolerance.

Yep, he's more than likely built up a tolerance plus he's adding alcohol consumption to the mix.
You know Hollie, your medication was legitimately prescribed by a competent Dr. for a real medical condition.
As I wrote before, Harry's self medicating and the so-called medical people he's listening to are catering to what he wants for treatment for his problems...meaning, he just wants to get high and zone out so he doesn't have to face his life, the real problems and the messes. Harry is a poor role model for the public and his kids, his niece and nephews.
Even if the Heritage Foundation is unsuccessful at getting his visa application made public, Harry's visa renewal is coming up. He may already be facing questions from Immigration, in private.

Hopefully they'll also perform a drug screening on him as well. Failing that may give him a wake-up call. Well, okay, probably not, but one can hope.

We all know, "someone has to hit rock bottom before they seek REAL help". For all appearances, the wife isn't concerned, but with Harry impaired, he's even easier to control and manipulate.
Viewing the photos of William in Poland and what he's become, then looking at Harry...but Harry has allowed everything that has happened up to this point, the result of not listening to people with advice, being spoiled and having a sense of entitlement. I add being an idiot.

"Two London schools have piloted a curriculum about 'challenging limiting gender stereotypes' run by a charity backed by Prince Harry and Meghan, it emerged today.

The Global Boyhood Initiative, which wants boyhood to be 'fluid', has run workshops with staff at Ravenstone School in Balham and Sherwood Primary School, Mitcham.

The organisation 'promotes gender equity by fostering positive masculinity in boys and men' and has warned that the phrase 'boys will be boys' is dangerous.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's organisation Archewell has partnered with the US-based initiative which also accuses parents of 'gendering' unborn children.

A Channel 5 documentary to be aired weeks before the coronation is set to regurgitate a claim that Charles used his influence with the MoD to have Harry recalled early from military service in Afghanistan.

In Charles & Harry: No Way Back? – an update of a 2021 documentary about the family rift – it is alleged that Harry was 'furious' after discovering that his father was 'implicated' in the decision to recall him in 2008 out of 'a desire to protect his son'.

When are reporters going to clarify just which "titles" they are babbling about?

This jerk is babbling on about the change to the royal website showing that Archie and Lili are now prince and princess, then moves on to claim that unless Charles makes changes, they can pass their "titles" on to their children. Say what? As a female, Lili can't pass down titles and Archie's children will not be princes and princesses unless Harry or Archie become king.

But there's still time left in the video, so why not claim that Charles is considering preventing Archie from inheriting the Sussex Dukedom, but that would mean that the Dukes of Kent and Gloucester couldn't pass their dukedoms to their sons.

Is there no reporter in the UK who understands that only Parliament can remove a peerage or alter a peerage remainder? We've already established that none of them seem to understand that Charles can alter the George V LPs or nullify them by issuing his own LPs.

Neil Sean is fun to view, but his videos are have to be taken with a grain of salt a lot of times.

I don't know why I sometimes watch his videos. They're only 4-5 minutes long and half that time is taken up with filler.

In the last one I watched previous to this one, he referred to Prince Archie and Prince Lilibet. In the next sentence it was Princess Archie and Princess Lilibet, and he finished off by listing Prince Harry as one of William's three children (can't remember which child he omitted while including Harry).

Even the DM doesn't make that many nomenclature errors in such a short period of time. Surely he could have found another five minutes in his day to record the video again.

Well, since I have to watch my salt intake, I need to skip his videos.

They also want Archie's birthday acknowledged in some way on Coronation Day.

I like this bit from the article: Typically, balcony appearances are reserved for working members of the royal family, however it has been reported the couple believe they should be a part of that 'special family moment'.

Actually, this "tradition" is less than a year old and was started at the Platinum Jubilee. It didn't take long for this reporter to have forgotten all those photos taken on the Monarch's official birthday.

For crying out loud, I agree. They can always haul Mama D. over to London along with the nurse/nanny since the media is always playing up how enormously wealthy they are.

I wonder who's private jet they're going to cadge for the trip. Of course, they better hurry up and make a decision, they have to give the Home Office at least 28 days notice.
Maybe they're in a bind. Harry might have been informed if he leaves the US, he may not be allowed back in the US upon return from the UK.
