"Queen Margrethe of Denmark is recuperating at the Amalienborg Palace in Copenhagen after doctors gave her the go ahead to leave hospital following extensive back surgery.
Queen Margrethe returned home over a week after the operation. Her medical team said the procedure went well and that Her Majesty could continue to recover at the palace. However, her rehabilitation programme could take several months.
Her elder son, Crown Prince Frederik, has resumed his role as regent, having returned from an official visit to India with his wife, Crown Princess Mary. In a short statement, the Royal Court said that the Crown Prince would continue his regency ”for the time being”."
The Queen's counterpart, the Swedish King was discharged earlier this week after heart surgery, I forgot to post the story.
