Agree. I would like to see Sir Tim honoured in some way. Possibly the Garter.

He was a valued support for the Princess Royal, I believe, during the final year of the late Queen, in particular.

Personally, I would like to see him honours in some way. But, I feel he one of those people who is happy to be in the background and not take the limelight from the one it should be on.

He did receive a knighthood. But maybe a knight of the Garter? Life peer?

I agree that he would not be wanting the limelight.
He is not an HRH so cannot count among the "working royals". But he is a highly competent working supporter. Another honour would be fine in time for the coronation.
Would Lord High Admiral be too much?

I Suppose he could have the title, if the monarch does not already hold it.

I believe Sir Tim was a Vice Admiral at the time of his retirement.

Yes I was saying that the King could raise him to the Rank of Admiral if he wanted to, for loyal to The Monarchy and Country.
