Using the word 'Jab' is very common here in the UK. Most people refer to getting the Covid 'Jab' or 'Injection'. 'Vaccine' or 'Vaccination' is hardly ever used.

I think the term "jab" is funny. My husband and I have started using it because we think "shot" is boring. And, yes, we have had our two jabs! Sorry about your grated teeth. And I do hate "baby bump!"

Well, after giving numerous injectable medications like vaccines, it gets old when someone says, "so you're going to jab me good and smile about it", jab is equated with stab. The worst is a parent saying to their child, "the nurse or Dr. is going to give you a real jab since you've been acting up". After so may years, it gets old.
Just don't use jab around me.

Parents say that? Good lord. I was always told to look away and either think of really good stuff or sing a song. Those parents are just teaching their kids to be afraid of drs. and nurses!

Back on topic: I'm glad to see Mathilde and Philippe out supporting the work being done to battle Covid. Plus leave it to Mathilde to make a mask look elegant!
