One year on from the bombshell announcement by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex that they intended to stop being senior royals, the decision continues to divide opinion but there is little doubt that the sad saga has enhanced the Queen’s reputation.

I would say the Bidens didn't benefit from the Harkles, Joe didn't win the election because of the one video the Harkles put out, only in their minds do they believe it and the DM reporter. An article as pointless and irrelevant as Harry and Meghan themselves.

"You have to remember that two years ago Meghan was a Hollywood actress in a B-soap, and Harry was a member of the Royal Family, who do great things.

"But he's not a political activist and she's not a human rights activist."

That sums it up in a nutshell. I might add Meghan's not a political activist either, however much she thinks she is.

Neither one of them are much of anything. At least Meghan worked her way into a role on a tv show and Harry served in the military. I'll give them that. But all they've done for the last two years is sit back and expect applause. They pose, emote and lecture. They are rudderless.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will never return to social media after claiming to have dealt with an 'almost unsurvivable' amount of abuse, a source has claimed.

Harry and Meghan stopped posting to their Sussex Royal Instagram and Twitter accounts last year, while hinting that they might not return.

And now a source close to them has told the Sunday Times they will not use social networks to promote their new Archewell Foundation and have no plans to return to the sites in a personal capacity.

It comes a year after the couple announced they were stepping back from official duties and their latest decision to leave social media for good signals a further step away from their existence as royals.

Leaving social media signals a further step away from their royal existence??????? And the fact that Instagram refuses to transfer their followers to a new account has nothing to do with their decision, right?

Waiting to see if they make any objections when they are featured on somebody else's social media account.

There's no way Meghan is going to surrender social media to Catherine and her photos of those three adorable kids. No, something else is afoot. Are they going to do their lecturing only through Archewell podcasts? Is that different from social media? If they're using the foundation website, podcasts and their Netflix documentaries to woke at us I suppose you can say they're "off" social media.

I agree that the fact that they can't transfer their followers to a new Instagram acct. is the burr in their behinds. The article makes it sound as if leaving the Sussex Royal Instagram was the start of their social media desertion, it wasn't. I'm not taking this seriously. It's true, their presence on the "Foundation" website, Spotify, and Netflix is still counted as social media presence.
There's no way they are going to totally disappear, they'll just make sure to pop up on other people's Instagram and Twitter feeds.

As one commentator stated, how convienent they are leaving social media on the Duchess of Cambridge;s birthday. Now they do not have to wish the Duchess of Cambridge a Happy Birthday on social media.

They never posted birthday messages to Catherine, William and their children on their Sussex Royal account. They would leave messages on the Kensington Royal account, and either the media was so obsessed that they would scan the thousands of messages posted looking for Harry and Meghan's post, or (more likely) somebody sent the media a screen shot of it.

And still the media faithfully reports when the Californians birthdays rolls around and the Sussex Squad squawks because the photos chosen either don't include Meghan (on Harry and Archie's birthdays) or include other people with Meghan (on Meghan's birthday).

The Queen "Determined" To Return To London For Trooping The Color With Harry And Meghan Returning"

The Queen is determined to 'get back to business' and will return to London for Trooping the Colour in June, according to reports.

The event, held in honour of the monarch's 95th birthday, is expected to be a reunion of the Royal Family and the first major national celebration since the pandemic.

According to The Sunday Times, palace aides have stated that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are expected to attend the official event despite quitting as senior royals because it's also a 'family occasion'.
