Well, but you have to understand People Magazine panders to the Sussexes. They are one of the very few mags that adore the Sussexes. I wonder who they polled or what the criteria was. I can think of a lot of other royal men who are much sexier.

There are plenty of Royal men I'd pick over Harry. Joachim of Denmark's two older sons? Hellooooo. Afonso and Dinis of Portugal? Hoo boy. Frederick, Felipe, Haakon... In fact, I'd pick any male Royal over the age of 18 except Albert of Monaco--but even with him I'd have to think about it.

Well yeah, no surprise that Harry would be chosen from their mouthpiece US publication. It's all a PR stunt and another attempt at damage control after the Remembrance Day PR farce.
Any of the other Royal men Hollie featured were much better candidates, although Albert of Monaco, um, no, maybe when he was much younger.

"The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's possessions have been removed from Frogmore cottage to make way for Princess Eugenie.

Harry and Meghan's belongings were taken out of the Windsor property in the "middle of the night", reports say.

They have handed the keys over to Harry's cousin Eugenie, and her husband Jack Brooksbank.

The couple, who married two years ago and are expecting a baby early next year, moved into the five-bed home two weeks ago.

While they've been settling in Harry and Meghan's belongings was transported to California.

“Removal vans pitched up in the dead of the night and cleared out the cottage," a source told The Sun."
This is like when tenants sneak out in the dead of night without giving notice or paying rent or home owners skipping out on the bank mortgage by moving at night. The Sussexes aren't ever returning to the UK, even for a visit.

So now we know who paid off the taxpayer money. If the home was sold to Princess Eugenie and her husband it would make sense as the Sussexes have no plans to ever return to the UK. This much is obvious.

I think the Harkles giving up the leasehold was a combination of both your suggestions, Martha. First, it would fit that it's in the Harkles plans to totally cut ties with the Royal Family and the UK, period. Maybe not Harry, definitely Meghan and Harry won't voice any objections with her.
Second, it may have been their thinking that with the move to Canada and the US and "stepping down" as working Royals that making the lame statement that Frogmore Cottage would be their UK base would keep it hanging and thus they wouldn't have to pay for any upkeep, I truly think they were convinced they wouldn't have to pay back the money for the renovations, if they kept insisting they were coming back some time to the UK.
I think they were shocked when the UK public demanded they pay back the taxpayer funds used for Frogmore Cottage's renovation. If you go back to the statement that the money had been paid back in full, it read like that of a petulant child. I also think they were taken aback about paying rent every month on the property, they expected to be let off the hook, again.
They had that expense, plus the $100,000/mon. of running Costa del Sussex plus the money spent for the luxury cars and security. Then there's Meghan's ongoing legal fees with her lawsuit and those are going "ka-ching, ka-ching" every day. The advance money from Netflix was probably spent in a week as any money from their Zoom appearances. That leaves only the estimated $2-5 million a yr. from Netflix from now on. The first thing was to unload Frogmore Cottage even though that money isn't even a drop in the bucket. They aren't going to use it.
It's a splendid home for Jack, Eugenie and the baby. I hope they don't have to do too much to undo the Sussex decorating to adapt to their tastes.

Here we go. A dozen different stories on the subject. If this story is true, what are Jack and Eugenie supposed to do if the Harkles finally decide they want to grace the UK with a visit? I have a hard time believing this version.

The Harkles are "delighted to offer" their home to Jack and Eugenie, yet still claim they'll stay there whenever they come back for visits?, Yeah, the only ones who believe the Sussexes will ever be back are the sugars. Typical Sussex MO: lie and spin, lie and spin. My guess is they wanted out of the lease and Jack and Eugenie bought them out on it because of the proximity to Royal Lodge.

This article is BS. Who was going to pay the monthly rent? The leaseholders, the Harkles or Eugenie/Jack if the Harkles remained leaseholders. Was Eugenie and Jack "subletting" and paying the rent to the Harkles, who we know would never pass the rent money along or Eugenie paying the rent so the Harkles wouldn't have to, but could still claim the leasehold on the property.
I think the Harkles were told if they didn't plan on coming back to the UK, then give up Frogmore Cottage. I also wonder if, in fact, they were paying any rent and if the entire amt. of the renovation costs were actually paid.
The "sources" were the Harkles, I'm sure.

I very much doubt Jack and Eugenie would pay the Harkles the rent if they sublet Toad Hall. They'd pay directly to the Crown Estate. I'm just very skeptical that the Harkles retained the leasehold. What happens if the Brooksbanks decide to move out after a year or so? The Harkles are still stuck with the rent. My own feeling is that Jack and Eugenie bought out the lease. Maybe Andrew worked out a deal with HM and Charles. I don't know.

I just threw that out about the subletting, do I think it really would have happened,no. Jack and Eugenie may have very well bought out the leasehold with or without Andrew's help. All of the sudden this came out of the blue and the moving under the "cover of darkness"? Something happened and it wasn't in the Harkles favor. I wonder if they were told "if you're not coming back, then give back Frogmore Cottage. I'm also sure Harry and Meghan "were delighted to let Eugenie and Jack use Frogmore Cottage." The whole denial story is too fishy to be true, but it's a ruse to make Harry and Meghan look kindly and benevolent.

I doubt this. The Harkles may be happy to go behind backs and do their own thing, but Eugenie and Jack don't rock the boat. The cousins have stayed in touch, and maybe they discussed renting Toad Hall, but I don't think Harry could just rent out Frogmore without going through channels. The original scenario makes more sense, that the Harkles had the rest of their things sent to them and the Brookbanks are now living there.

I've been doing some digging and from 1985 to 2019 People has it's Sexiest Man Alive poll, no Sexiest Royal...until this year. Hmm and it "just" happens to be Harry, from the magazine that's the Harkle shill.
