Being invited by a royal prince to a shooting weekend at Balmoral was the pinnacle of social success for Epstein. I don't know that he would have jeopardized it for something he could easily arrange for the weekend before and/or after. Not that I'm trying to minimize what a monster he and Maxwell were/are, but it would bring suspicion on staff who may have not had an inkling. I have to think that if something did happen, the staff would have been loyal enough to the late queen to make sure word got back to her. They had no reason to protect Epstein or Maxwell.
