A part of that could be when Mette-Marit began having her health problems. Well, now that I think about it, there were so photos of MM and Marie Chantal on the beach in Nice, this was several years ago, in the early mid-2000's and MM got a lot of criticism because only a few days before, she cancelled an engagement in Norway due to health problems. The missing the engagement for the mentioned reason could have been legitimate, but it didn't go down well with the press or public.
Marie Chantal and Rosario could have backed away when MM became involved/"friends" with Epstein. Who knows? They all may have drifted away from each other due to their lives changing.
