Martha is canny. You don't survive in her business as long as she has without being both tough and intelligent. I'm on her side.
They are going to have to sell their house and downsize considerably in order to pay off all those fees and fines. I wouldn't be surprised if They try to file for bankruptcy. There is no way They can afford to pay off all the debt.
