Yes, this is the first State Banquet and tiara event for Eleanor. I think this is a first for all four children attending a State Visit and Banquet.
I loved to see the colored gown Masako wore for the State Banquet in the Netherlands and now the beautiful mauve outfit and hat that she wore for the arrival to Belgium. Her gown for this Banquet was more cream/ivory than white. I think she's saying, "I'm Empress and I wear what I like and not the IHA uniform attire."
