I don't understand the brooch worn at the waist of the dress anymore than I understand how they go together. The jewels (gorgeous) just don't relate to the dress.

I'm equally stumped by the flurry of little brooches on Amalia's bodice. She looks wonderful, and that blue on her is divine, but the bodice looks disorganized.
