I wanted to know more about Betty Cator, the bridesmaid who wore this gown and married into the Bowes Lyon family, and found out that she had twin daughters as well as two non-twin sons. One of her twins, Mary Cecilia, was godmother to the late Diana, Princess of Wales. I had no idea about that connection between the Bowes Lyon family and the Spencer family. I knew about the late QM's friendships with both of Diana's grandmothers and her great aunt, but not the godmother bit. Pretty cool.
