Philip had a uti at the time of the Jubilee in 2012, and had ongoing issues after that. I can believe he had pancreatic cancer but preferred to soldier on until he couldn't any more. The Kent brothers are the same. I can also believe HM was angry that he passed without her being able to say goodbye. My grandmother was furious at my grandfather dying after she and my mother has left to get some food. He waited until she was gone and died with only my aunt with him. Anger is a part of grief, and we all know how anguished HM was after Philip's death.
