We're all aghast, appalled and embarrassed for the princesses. But one word that hasn't been said is "surprised". No one has been surprised by Sarah's craven nature or the depravity of parading her daughters around a known pedophile. Did she think he was "just" naughty or did she not appreciate the seriousness of his crimes? And it comes back to this - we are not surprised either by her stupidity or her moral bankruptcy.
