That is a terrible and traumatic surgery to have to undergo. I am glad Thomas has survived it.

I hope--and I know it's probably in vain--that Meghan has at least contacted her half-brother about their father. I can't imagine not getting in touch when something like this happens, no matter how bad the relationship is.
