2020 - Princess Beatrice of York married Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in a private ceremony, which adhered to all Covid-19 safety protocols, at the Royal Chapel of All Saints, Royal Lodge, Windsor. Princess Beatrice wore a Norman Hartnell dress from Queen Elizabeth II's private collection. The gown was firstly worn by the late Queen in the 1960's for a state dinner at the British Embassy in Rome. The dress was altered by the Queen's personal dresser Angela Kelly and fashion designer Stewart Parvin. Alterations included the full skirt being softened for a more modern look and the addition of short organza sleeves. Queen Mary's Diamond Fringe Tiara which Queen Elizabeth II wore to her own wedding was loaned to her granddaughter for the special day.
