The foundation stone is for the King Charles III Sacristy project. The sacristy will help preserve the Abbey as a sacred space, housing state-of-the-art welcome, ticketing and security facilities. Her Majesty also toured the Abbey, meeting staff and looking at the recently updated memorial to the Brontë sisters.
