Now we know why Netflix dropped the "Pearl" project. Remember Meghan boasted that she would find another "media outlet to create her Pearl production", it was just that, an empty boast. No other media company would touch it with a copyright infringement on it. I'm sure the news from Netflix spread fast in Hollywood at the time.
