The horses were gorgeous and extremely friendly. They all wanted to have their noses stroked and reacted when I said "Goedzo" followed by their name.
In addition to viewing the horses in their stalls, there was also a show in the indoor arena. Horses were presented in hand (like at an inspection), on the long reins (like at the Hengstenkeuring), under saddle, in front of the concours wagon, or at liberty.
After each act, there was a chance to take photos. And at the end of the day, the breeding stallions were taken outside for another photo sessions. We were there for about 5 hours.
As long as we were in the area, we figured we might as well drive north another 200 miles to see the NW Hemisphere Center: 45 × 90 Geographical Marker.
