Treatment might have altered Catherine's taste for food. My husband went through that during/following chemo. He'd take a bite and the food all tasted different. For quite a while he didn't like most food, no matter how it was prepared.

I believe Catherine wore that coat in a black version for Philip's funeral. I agree with you that the royals all looked very nice.
