That post was just from this morning... the devastation is just apocalyptic. I don't use superlatives often, but in this case. Yes. Block after block after block. Gone. Altadena will probably never really recover.

It turns out my supermarket may have survived after all, and it made me tear up that *some*thing did. The men at the butcher counter are the best and I can't wait to see them again. I know it's silly, but I need it.
