1840 - Princess Victoria Adelaide Mary Louisa, known as Vicky in the family, eldest child and daughter of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert was born. Having read the books of the correspondence between her and her mother and other books on Vicky she comes across to me as highly intelligent, no common sense, extreamly stubborn and a very frustrated and disappointed with life woman. She was married at 17 which is very young and then had to adjust to the very formal Prussian Court and a family who really didn't like each other.
