1936 - HM King Edward VIII, later known as HRH The Duke of Windsor, accompanied by HRH Prince Albert, The Duke of York and HRH Prince George, The Duke of Kent, attended the National Service of Remembrance, on Remembrance Sunday, at the Cenotaph on Whitehall, London. This was the only Remembrance Sunday event he attended as Sovereign.
