It is interesting to see the photo of President Kennedy and his wife on their official visit. According to reports I've read Queen Elizabeth was not happy about them coming. She made things difficult. Jackie had asked that several famous authors and artists be invited to the palace while they were there. They weren't. There was also the problem with Jackie's sister, who lived in London. She was divorced and not welcome. They got it all ironed out, but it was not a pleasant time.
