No, my family and I were living in Aberdeen (North East Scotland) at the time. But, my Gandparents and other relatives lived in Edinburgh. We used to travel and spend holidays (vacations) down in Edinburgh. So, regulary used the ferry crossing and I regulary got sea sick. It was a relief went the bridge was completed.
