I forgot to post a message on 30 July the birth date in 1930 of my second favorite princess, Infanta Pilar. She was Juan Carlos' older sister. She had to give up her succession to the Spanish crown because she married a commoner.

She lead a very active life and lived to 83.

I think it interesting that Pilar, Ragnhild of Norway (My favorite) and Margaret of the UK were all born in 1930. What different lives they lead.
