It was a mobility scooter and the man accidently step on the acceleration pedal. From now on Security officers should have someone stop their scooter several feet away, like 15 ft. and make it clear the Royals will approach him/her. I'm sure the man felt terrible, but it wasn't a wise move. I've run into those scooters in the stores and parking lots and some people can be dangerous with those things.
