Queen Camilla with Tam O'Shanter Beret

The Tam O'Shanter is the traditional Scottish bonnet that can be worn by either men or women. Women's bonnets usally have the jaunty feather either at the front or to the side of the bonnet. The Men's version is a plain, with a small pompom on top, 'Tammie' and is regulary used by Scottish regiments as working headgear. The Queen's hat that she regulary wears at the Braemar Games and on engagements in Scotland is her way of paying tribute to my country, Scotland, and it's history. The male version of the 'Tammie' beret.
