I don't know if Harry cheated on Chelsy or not, but she hasn't put herself in the spotlight since the breakup so my hunch is that it was too much for her. It may have been exciting at first, but she was determined to get her degree and the media was her life difficult. I think what sunk them as a couple is that Chelsy outgrew Harry.
As for Cressida, I think she and Harry were each other's rebound romance. Cressida wanted to act on stage not work for The Firm, so it wasn't going to last.
