For over 20 years, we've all gotten along by following three rules:

1) No rehashing of the War of the Wales unless it's in regard to a news article or new book containing new information.

2) Tread carefully when the topic of religion arises in regard to the royals, and above all, do not proselytize. Discussions involving religion without a royal tie-in are forbidden.

3) Tread carefully when the topic of politics arises in regard to the royals. People from different countries post and lurk here and should not be subjected to seeing their country's policies attacked or ridiculed.

(Religion and/or politics should only be discussed within the context of the royals.)

If a moderator feels a thread is in danger of crossing into forbidden territory, they will post a warning message to alert all readers. The people who still want to converse on the subject can use the private message feature.
