Not really news.

We were already informed that there would be a carriage procession from the Abbey to Buckingham Palace and that only working royals would appear on the balcony.

Put those two facts together and voila! You know who would be riding in the carriages.

Of course, the media have to make it all about who isn't going to be riding in the carriages because they are so worried that those individuals will steal the limelight.
