Edward and Sophie have always been a glaring contrast to Andrew (and his ex, Fergie) and the other Duke/Duchess that we all know.
The media, up until the last few years, have been very unkind to this couple. They both made mistake, not going into it, we all know. They learned, but they moved on, they didn't apologize or voice repeated regrets as the media wanted them to. Edward and Sophie dug in and worked for the Monarchy and their country. Sophie suffered a near tragedy, that, Thank God didn't happen. Sophie didn't talk about her experience endlessly, she does talk about her experience with Louise's birth, but rarely. Sophie was the best thing that happened to Edward, they make a great team/couple. Sophie was the best thing for the Queen.
