I still remain suspicious about whether the email was an invitation or not. The wording of the announcement is ambiguous--the email "concerns the Coronation." If it was an invitation, I'd think the spokesperson would say the Sussexes had received an invitation. This vague statement? It sounds like they've been told no and are stalling and spinning. I could be wrong.
