It was previously reported that rsvp's were due by the beginning of April, so I think it's a safe assumption that invitations have already been sent. An e-mail from BP seems, to me, seems to be the safest way to issue their invitation.

They'll either wait until the last minute to announce their attendance or announce it when somebody else has something major going on. Maybe during Charles's visit to France or Germany?
