In some of the photos Amalia is walking behind her parents and a couple show Amalia walking behind her mother, like a Lady-in-Waiting. I give credit to her father, he does bring her around to him and puts his arms around her. There are still plenty of photos showing Amalia walking or standing behind her parents when I feel she should be standing next to her parents.
On a side note, Maxima's red outfit and hat are stunning and I think she's wearing the brooch from the Peakcock Parure, my favorite parure.
