This isn't the first time Welby has served as an intermediary. I'd hoped that, after the lie about him conducting that secret marriage (against canon law)the Sussexes told on Oprah, that his eyes had been opened, especially since he and his office unequivocally refuted the story. Alas, he's still Team Sussex.
