'Why on earth we allow him to keep his titles if he hates this country and hates the monarchy. If I had time I'd be bringing in a private members bill to say if you want to hate monarchy you're Mr Windsor - jog on, grow up.'

Well, you've partially answered your own question. You "don't have the time" to bring in a bill. And when citizens present petitions regarding removing the titles, those receiving the petitions claim it's not in their power to remove the peerage titles, that's it's not in their job description.

So, until the various branches of the government, constitutional experts, courts, and the monarch decide just who does have the power, nothing will be done.
