I'm sure the Windsors, as a family, would like the rift to be healed and to be on good relations with the Sussexes. But all the Sussexes want is for the royal family to passively allow themselves and the monarchy to be exploited and denigrated for the profit of Harry and Meghan.

The invitation to attend family events might have been issued, but BP hasn't defined just what is a family event and what is an official event. Personally, I have a hard time imagining Meghan making the trip if she isn't guaranteed photos holding Lili next to the queen, up on the balcony with the kids or riding in a carriage. She sure isn't going to maneuvered into a situation where she is photographed curtsying to Catherine. Harry might come solo, but I doubt that we'll see the Sussexes en famille.
