I disagree. I think that, yes, their throughts were their concern for Her Majesty and also centred on the ceremony. Also this really was the first major event without either the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh. So a lot of emotions swirling about. I totally teared up when a close of Charles' face was shown and it was very obvious that he was fighting back tears.
You may not think having Charles as King is not pleasant, but I think he will be an excellent King. We may not have him for long, but whether his life is long or short his duty will be devoted to this country and it's people. As for not knowing what he will do, his family, palace advisors, government will some idea (they will have been planning for his accession since the early 2000s I think). We the public don't, but I'm not worried. As for what is being planned not being good. I think there will be change, some will not be happy, but it won't be bad.
