'[The Queen] is giving him shelter. She is allowing him at Balmoral and allowing him to sort of hide in her skirts. And I think that is for the Queen's image, particularly in America, it is damaging for her.
Katie Nicholl flaunting her ignorance. Charles is the only royal duke with a sizeable amount of "accessible" money, and he is a pauper when compared with the Duke of Westminster. There's no stipend attached to the dukedom of York. Pity Katie doesn't understand the difference between a duchy and a dukedom.
I don't think the average American really cares one way or another about Andrew. It's the British tabloid media who are obsessed with his every move, claiming to be aghast that his mother allows him to cross her threshold. (Makes me wonder what sort of support their children can expect should they have problems).
The media question his audacity to show his face when he ventures beyond his own doorstep, but berates him for hiding when he hasn't been seen in a week.
It's interesting that everybody is fixated on who's paying Andrew's lawyers, but nobody wonders where Virginia Roberts is finding the funds to pay her lawyers.
