I don't think that either of her children can afford to buy up her jewelry. Besides, when would it be worn? Viscount Linley is single now, although he could save a few pieces for his daughter. Sarah Chatto could buy back something for herself or eventual daughters-in-law to wear, but that's still a hefty price for some baubles that Margaret didn't pass on. Maybe the kids didn't want them? I remember the pieces being sold, so apparently the money was desired but not the jewelry. Personally, if my husband had the chance to inherit the Polimore Tiara and passed on it he'd be in the dog house.
