"Spotify has been forced to defend paying Prince Harry and Meghan Markle a reported £18m for their podcast while musicians get just £0.0038 per stream.
The couple's deal with the streaming service was one of their first massive business ventures after quitting the royal family last year.
Their show, Archewell Audio, shared its first and to date only, episode at the end of last year, featuring interviews with Sir Elton John and James Cordon as well as a short clip of their son Archie wishing listeners a happy new year.
Horacio Gutierrez, Spotify's head of global affairs and chief legal officer, was grilled about the amount of money the company gave the couple at a Digital, Culture, Media and Sport select committee hearing."
