I purchase a lovely roast beef for Christmas Eve dinner, but made the mistake of buying ingredients for sloppy joes (what?????0) on a whim, complete with tater tots. Hubby insisted we do the sloppy joes for Christmas eve. I humored him. What was I thinking. We spent a quiet Christmas day and then had dinner at our neighbor's home--a tradition no one wanted to give up. They had seven different seafood dishes (something to do with an Italian tradition). Needless to say, we are moving around like walruses today! Oh and I got a book for Christmas, The Chess Queen Enigma. It looks to be very light reading--nothing heavy for me. Hats off to War and Peace readers. I will start my book straight away!
