What the First Minister could have done besides apologize is set an example by paying the fine despite the waiver. Two of our District Court judges were caught chatting inside the Courthouse, less than a foot apart, no masks. Both apologized and paid their fines despite waivers, they said they're not above the law and not be treated as such. These judges got a lot of respect from the public...our Governor on the other hand....
