Yes, canned cranberry sauce!
And applesauce. I never was a big apple eater. I could leave an apple in the bowl forever growing up. I joke to Dh that people would offer a kid an apple to do some task. Now make it a mango and *that* would be motivation, I say, lol! Actually, fruit bowls left me uninterested overall. My mom kept apples, oranges, etc. But, switched to realistic plastic when no one ate them, lol!
I preferred tropical fruits like mango, papaya, pineapple, coconut, etc. and stone fruits like - plums, peaches, apricots, and nectarines, black cherries now and then, plus some berries, etc.
Yes, blackberry syrup and preserves. My secret is to add some vanilla bean to it. I'd still love to enter it in a fair. :-)
Strawberries for strawberry shortcake, too!
The only fresh peaches that I ate, were the ones on the tree that I sat under to read. They were a good type, and warm from the sun. For some reason I liked that. But, their fuzz was something that I did not like. There is a good peach candy, though. It looks like a life preserver, and was quite tasty.
Good answers!
