We joke, when someone wants say, the dill, to look under D for dill. The next day, if we need a spoon...in the same place, we say that it's under S for spoon. Sheesh!
I love that you can see those 2 oak trees. I had to trade my trees next to the house for a safer place to live, and look what happened; the oaks and one other tree fell on the old house last year. :-( So, maybe smart, but sad, too.
Yes, an open floor plan. I've had them most of my life, and know how dressers, trunks, etc. can be dividers.
Oh, my gosh, I love your whimsy, and have very similar items hanging, other than the bird/bow/flower. I have a peace sign necklace, a small dream catcher...larger ones packed, small chimes, and shell necklaces. I have pooka shells from back then, as well. How cool!
I don't know about you, but wooden beads like yours give me instant memories; I love them. I like them as keychains or anywhere. I used to cherish some that I got at the Pomona Fair once, way back when. I really do love it, thank you for showing it to me! :-)
I like the 'grandparents' look, as well!
