But special meals for breakfast - usually farmer's breakfasts.
Eggs, bacon or steak, potatoes, waffles, pancakes, etc.
Fruit - juice or halved grapefruit or oranges.
Quantities were never small or even medium.
Always toast - I "used" to bake bread. And lots were from scratch. A lonnng time ago. 8-)
On my own - whatever I wanted.
