Sandwiches are good food, and tend to be easy, fast, and easy to eat! I love sandwiches!
I always preferred the thin cut pork chops. That sounds good.
I haven't made fried rice since...middle of last month, maybe? But, have thought about it. I should make some, now that I have ingredients, as I love it, and can freeze or refrigerate leftovers for other meals.
But, of course! McCormick blends are the best! The best poultry seasoning, the best yellow curry powder, the best Italian blend...just the best! :-)
Oh, another good list of food arriving tomorrow!
That's what I used to do with peas that were frozen. Try a few in potato salad sometime. I was pregnant with Dd #2 when I had that in a restaurant. Their potato salad was as close to mine as I'd ever seen, but they added a few frozen peas to it. I would never have thought of it, but it was good!
Oh, cool to think of the pumpkin pie early, since they tend to sell out around the holidays.
Are apple blossom apples a baked apple?
The fish fingers sound good to me.
Great on the sausage.
Krypto is finally learning to wait, also. He's still an impatient pup, but...!
Depending what they have, because chicken is kind of hard to get these days, and we only look once every 2 months, I gets cut up chicken mostly. Such as...a pack of 2 breasts, which I mostly use for making broth, then make chicken salad of the chicken. Also, the legs are a pack of 4 legs, usually, and my latest love...chicken tenders. The breasts can be tough (though not after being made into broth!), but the tenders make great chicken pot pie, chicken in gravy, air cooked herby chicken strips, and so forth.
Though I've just about given up on them, I did get a whole chicken a while back. It's in the freezer, and I am hoping to roast it for some special meal, with rosemary under the skin, etc.
I used to buy Mexicorn, it's good. I'm sorry that you couldn't get more...that seems like the new way that things are. Shortages on and off on a lot of items.
Our local market is our hippie store, with the co-op a close second, lol!
I loved the old days of health food stores, from the 60's forward, when everything was in bins. Since covid, they got rid of those at both stores, which is understandable, but kind of sad to see it go.
I agree, re: chemicals, etc.
I guess, then, that we will both be having non-traditional Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. I think that it's okay, if we try to make it something that we really like. Maybe only a burrito, pizza, spaghetti, etc. as long as they are tasty.
I'm sorry, though, that you haven't gone to Ds's again for Thanksgiving. :-( But now, in the covid world...
Well, certain tribes of American Indians believe that there has to be a hole or imperfection it things like dream catchers, baskets, etc. :-)
It's great that she works at it like that.
Thank you, you have a good food week, also!
(Krypto is playing ball before bed. A tired pup, is a better pup! That's my motto! They probably wouldn't be tough enough for Charlie, but I'm loving these balls. The look like a tennis ball, but are heavier, and squeak! I had no idea that they did when I got them, and don't know how they do. They don't work like a regular squeaky toy. So far, he's barely damaged one of his red, white, and blue ones. I have 3 black and orange ones in the wings for Halloween. :-) I thought that he would need them by the end of Oct., when I bought them 2 months ago, but he's fine on.)
