Not so much when folks moved us to MI. That was the giant oak barrels of Vernor's GingerAle. That was addictive. 8-)
But once moved to LA in '63, before LAX became LAX, there were two Italian Delis near by. So handmade pizza, and real Hogies with spicy capacola, on homemade buns.... yum! No subways back then. And I don't mean the metal ones in NY. Lolol.
I think Pizza was East Coast for a long time. Frozen pizza? I had to be desperate.

I don't remember my grands on East Coast or West, eating pizza. But my dads sibs & their spouses... yeppers! Therefore my cousins too.
