Ds had said that he needed to shop sooner than later, so I thought Monday, at the latest. Now, I understand that he still needs to wait until after next Wednesday for funds.
Soooo, I may not have to opt out, just keep my meals as simple as possible, so that I can keep the list a bit smaller. That, I can do.
As long as I have some major staples, I can get less to build meals from them.
If Ds is working all week next week, then it will be the following Monday, the 10th, I think...
Anyway, that gives me time to try the index cards...which I happen to have some of! I used to have tons, but up here I still have enough for this project. :-)
Yes, definitely a disaster. I told Dh, and Ds, that we all need to get back on track!
Lol! I used to indulge in T.V. dinners, and other frozen meals at times! And, I am going to say, that I liked them...lol!
Oh, by the way, there's a show which takes you to the factories of various foods that we all eat, such as candy, French's mustard, chips, etc. and the other day I saw them make a frozen Thai meal by Amy's.
I was actually pretty impressed. After the rice is cooked and added, plus sauce, they take decent looking vegetables, and people add them, by hand - not machine, to each container.
Okay, it's getting late. Mamou is next to my feet, leaning against me, and Uhura is put out because she wants to lay there. So, she came and stood on me *rolling eyes*, then pinned my left arm. That doesn't work, lol! Sheesh!
Thank you again, my mind is racing with this idea!
